Double CD
Kuressaare Chamber Music Days 10
Highlights

During the ten years of the Kuressaare Chamber Music Days we have heard hundreds of hours of wonderful music and many excellent musicians from Estonia and abroad. Our audience will remember moments when they became part of music - we have admired and enjoyed, experienced the greatness of music.
Music is an abstract form of art that only lasts a moment. A listener will leave with an emotion that unfortunately fades in time. Recordings of the Kuressaare Chamber Music Days´ most beautiful moments will give us an opportunity to enjoy these emotions outside the festivals that have taken place and bring these moments to people who could not visit our festivals.
I was pleasantly surprised to discover how many outstanding musicians have performed in Kuressaare, many more than these CDs can hold. Despite the time limit the double CD of the Kuressaare Chamber Music Days is interesting and offers a rich variety of music and performers. A colourful mosaic of different cultures and authenticity of live-recordings make this compilation invaluable.

      Enjoy the music!
Andres Paas, the founder and artistic director of the festival
