This time he will perform together with his good friends – cellist Rustam Komachkov and violinist Julia Igonina – Russian musicians who have gained a lot of recognition on several reputable stages all over the world. This excellent ensemble already won the audience’s heart in the festival in 2009 where their moving performance of Tchaikovsky’s Trio in A minor, Op. 50 for piano, violin, and cello is still remembered. “It is rare when one can experience such perfect and universal disappearance of time and space that I felt during this evening of music. What a concentration, cognitive intensity and sense of integrity, and what an exceptional ensemble!” (Ludmilla Dombrovska, Sirp, 2009).
Also this time the programme is varied and emotionally gripping – there are piano trios by Debussy and Brahms as well as music by Schumann and Saint-Saëns.
