FANTASIES
Duo Telluur

Heli Ernits (oboe, English horn) & Kirill Ogorodnikov (guitar)

Programme:
Coste. Lopez-Maya. Balkanski. Rodrigo. Bartók. Mägi. Eespere. Jõeleht.

The Duo Telluur, founded in 2015, is an enthusiastic ensemble that got its name from a chemical element – silvery and delicate substance, referring to the unique acoustic sound of the ensemble. The combination of guitar and English horn played by two passionate musicians, Heli Ernits and Kirill Ogorodnikov, is rare in the music world. Inspiration for this combination came from matching the balmy sounds of these two instruments, and thus also the opportunity to play not only standard but also more modern music. The duo has fruitful collaboration with Estonian composers who have composed music specially for this ensemble. One of these pieces of music is also to be performed in Kuressaare.
